Highlights from RCSI PPI Ignite Knowledge Exchange Event in Collaboration with Sjögrens Ireland

This video features highlights from the first researcher-patient knowledge exchange event held on July 19th 2022.
As part of a campaign to raise awareness RCSI researcher Dr Joan Ni Gabhann-Dromgoole and Sjögrens patient advocates co-designed a research survey that was sent to attendees of an information webinar held on World Sjögrens Day 2021. This researcher-patient partnership sought to determine the quality of life of those living with Sjögrens in Ireland. They also wanted to gather information on the main issues experienced by those living with Sjögrens and understand the impact the pandemic may have had. This short video offers highlights from the main knowledge exchange webinar event and demonstrates the importance of creating and maintaining partnerships with patients and public in order to improve healthcare.
