Best poster award at RCSI research day March 2024: PPI category
Sjögren’s Ireland and Dr Joan Ni Gabhann-Dromgoole were the recipients of the Best Academic Poster Award recognising their partnership & support to Sjögren’s patients
Together with Dr Joan Ni Gabhann-Dromgoole, from the School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences, Sjögren’s Ireland patient advocates (Deirdre Collins, Eileen Sheehy, Monika Lauder and Grainne Tynan) designed research studies, analysed the data and designed the posters that were presented at RCSI research day 2024.
Their public and patient involvement poster, which gave an overview of the impact of their initiatives to date was peer reviewed by an external panel of experts.
The award recognises their commitment to improving the quality of live for those living with Sjögren’s through advocacy, awareness and research.
