A first-of-its-kind for Ireland, a study co-designed by RCSI researchers and Sjögren’s patients
Through partnership and collaboration Sjögren’s Ireland patient advocates and RCSI researchers carefully designed this research project to gain deeper insights into the lives of those affected by Sjögren’s in Ireland.
The study has been instrumental in identifying crucial areas of unmet needs, especially emphasizing the necessity for improved awareness and education among healthcare professionals. The outcomes of this study have paved the way for several groundbreaking initiatives, including a dedicated webpage for the disease, valuable healthcare resources, and an impactful Sjögren’s poster campaign.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the individuals who completed our online survey in 2021 for making this study possible.
