Sjögren’s Ireland Highly Commended at the Irish Healthcare Awards 2023
Sjögren’s Ireland were Highly Commended in the Patient Advocacy Group of the Year category at the Irish Healthcare Awards held on December 5th 2023.
This commendation recognises the significant efforts of four volunteer patient advocates who themselves live with Sjogrens.
Since forming an advocacy group in 2021 Sjögren’s Ireland have made significant progress in raising awareness, improving education and providing support to the Sjögren’s Community.
We would like to thank Barry Cullinane, Elisha Colleran, Diarmuid Gavin and Théa Pharma Ireland for their support with the recent poster awareness campaign and the new information booklet for patients and healthcare professionals which can be found here
A big Thank You to all those within RCSI, University of Medicine and Health Sciences and all those who contributed to the new information booklet, it has been a very welcome healthcare resource within the Sjogren’s community.
